| Description: | [e107coders Warning] Using this plugin with recent versions of e107 0.7 is NOT recommended as moderated signups is a built-in feature of e107. It is also not recommended to overwrite core files. Changes the signup process to require moderator approval. 1) load alt_signup plugin a) after install copy signup.php to your e107 root signup.php and replace it. b) replace e107_handlers/login.php with the one provided in alt_signup (this will also make your site a little more secure) 2) go to config and activate alt_signup and configure email texts. User clicks signup and gets redirected to alt_signup after filling out the form and saves (register) en email is send to the user with the signup info and welcome etc. At the same time an email is send to the moderator. As moderator go to admin plugins alt_signup and you will see an overview of pending user requests. you can then; 1) approve user recieves email that id is approved and can login 2) reject User received email that id is NOT ok and has the option to requests again with the request to provide more info for the moderator.
